Serves on the Building & Grounds Committee of Community School of Naples (CSN), where his children attend PreK-12.

Mr. & Mrs. Askar have chaired the Community School of Naples annual Angel Ball to raise funds for the school’s financial aid program.

Served on the board of St. Vincent de Paul.

Began an annual soup kitchen in the inner city of Detroit, which has been running for over a decade.

Co-founder of the Ave Maria Law School Veterans Library.

Supports the Golisano Naples Children’s Museum and The Naples Zoo.
